Mike Sonko’s Convoy Attacked During Azimio Rally In Mombasa

Former Nairobi City County Governor Mike Sonko’s convoy was,today,attacked by rowdy youths in Mombasa county

Sonko who is seeking to succeed Governor Joho was attending Raila Odinga’s Azimio rally in Mkomani,Mombasa county.

Police officers were forced to fire in the air to disperse the rowdy youths who were charging towards the former governor

Mike Sonko who is vying on Wiper party ticket has caused jitters in Mombasa, with a section of the Coastal city’s politicians who described Sonko as an outsider

Governor Charity Ngilu took issue with the way Mike Sonko drove the car into the crowd “Who can drive a vehicle through a crowd like that? How? Unless you are a mad person, you cannot do that,” she said.

She went on, “Shame on you. I don’t know who it is, but shame on them!”
