Moses Kuria’s party announces Nomination Fees

Moses Kuria’s Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) party Elections Board has Announced Nomination fees for Various Elective Seats.

Political aspirants seeking to contest in the upcoming August elections will be required to pay nomination fees ranging between Ksh.40,000 and Ksh.1 million.

In a statement to the newsroom, Chama Cha Kazi Party chairman National Elections Board has said that Women, Youth, and People living with Disabilities will be the biggest winners.

“Chama Cha Kazi invites all interested and qualified aspirants to submit their applications for nominations on or before March 01, 2022. The application should be done online,” The National Elections Board Chairman Machel Waikenda said.

Male aspirants seeking the presidential nomination ticket will part with Ksh.1 million while women and youth eyeing the same ticket will be required to pay Ksh.500,000, while people living with disability will not pay the fee.

Male, female, and youth gubernatorial aspirants will pay Ksh. 500,000 Ksh. 250,000 and Ksh. 250,000 respectively.

For the Senate race tickets, aspirants will pay as follows: male Ksh.250,000, female Ksh.125,000, and youth Ksh.125,000 while for Member of National Assembly race,  male aspirants will pay Ksh.250,000, female Ksh.125,000 and youth Ksh.125,000

For the Woman Representative ticket, the fees will be Ksh.200,000 while youth aspirants will pay Ksh.100,000.

Members of County Assembly will pay as follows, Male Ksh,40,000 while women and youth will pay half the amount.

All persons with disabilities will not be required to pay any amount of fees in the application for nomination tickets.
