South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned travel bans imposed on South Africa due to another COVID variant that was reported in the country.
Ramaphosa said that he is deeply saddened by the ban that has affected his country and other South African neighbors,he said the bans unfairly targeted his country and should be immediately lifted.
The mutated varriant was reported in south Africa and there are fears that the varriant that spreads very first might evade the vaccine.
Some African countries have suspended flights from South Africa and three other Southern African cities of Lusaka.
