Raila Endorses Fernandes Barasa to Succeed Oparanya

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has endorsed Fernandes Barasa as the Kakamega County Governor Aspirant for ODM.

The ODM Party leader Raila Odinga announced that Barasa is best placed to succeed Wycliffe Oparanya.

“As we pass the baton to Barasa, Oparanya and I will go to Nairobi where he will help me work from there,” Raila said.

Barasa will be facing Cleophas Malala of the Kenya Kwanza alliance, Ayub Savula, and Philip Kutima who are set to square it on nomination under DAP Kenya.

There have been fears that the Friendly fire that is set to be witnessed in Azimio la Umoja against Kenya Kwanza Alliance might cost them.

Raila Odinga began his Western Region tour yesterday and is set to traverse various parts of the region to popularize his bid.
