Former Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko Mbuvi has been banned from travelling to the United States of America.
US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken announced that Sonko and his family have been banned from US due to graft when he served as the Governor of Nairobi.
According to Blinken,Sonko’s corrupt accts undermined the rule of law.He went on to say that the cases have been [widely reported in local and international press.
The Former Nairobi Governor is yet to respond to the ban by the US government
