Gituamba, Kasarani Constituency – Prophet Victor Kanyari of Salvation Healing Ministry has stirred public attention after breaking his silence on family concerns involving his daughter Sky, while simultaneously leading a major community outreach programme that saw more than 400 pupils in Gituamba receive full school uniforms, shoes, and school bags.
The dual moment of philanthropy and personal controversy has intensified public interest in the televangelist-cum-politician, who is increasingly positioning himself within Kasarani’s emerging political landscape.
Uniform Donation to Over 400 Pupils
Kanyari said the initiative was aimed at restoring dignity among children from vulnerable households, arguing that education support must go beyond school fees alone.
“It is very unfair that some children are not able to go to school. I have bought shoes, school bags and full school uniforms for these kids,” he said.
He emphasized that proper school dressing plays a key role in boosting learners’ confidence and attendance.

School Fees Support and Feeding Programme
In addition to uniforms, Kanyari confirmed that he had paid school fees for four pupils from Gituamba and facilitated their enrollment into the Dishi Na County school feeding programme for one year.
One of the beneficiaries, Muturi, was overcome with emotion after receiving the assistance.
“I can’t believe that my kids are going to school. Thank you very much, prophet, for giving my kids uniforms, buying them shoes and paying their school fees,” she said tearfully.
Water Crisis Intervention in Kasarani
Kanyari also addressed ongoing water shortages in parts of Kasarani, blaming cartels for disrupting supply and promising immediate relief through private intervention.
“I have bought more than two lorries that will supply water to you all. Just call and my team will deliver free drinking water as I work on a long-term solution,” he said.
He urged residents to contact his team for assistance, adding that they would also help with emergency transport and other community needs.
“We have more than two buses to help in ferrying constituents to different places. If you need help, reach out,” he added.
Youth Empowerment Through Trolleys and Capital
In a separate initiative, Kanyari distributed trolleys (mkokoteni) and startup capital to youth in Gituamba, encouraging them to embrace self-employment amid rising unemployment challenges.
“To our youths, I have given you these trolleys and capital to start a business. Please don’t disappoint. Commit yourselves and dedicate yourselves to your work,” he said.
He urged the beneficiaries to remain disciplined and focused in order to build sustainable livelihoods.
Kanyari Breaks Silence on Daughter Sky
The outreach event also took a dramatic turn after Kanyari briefly addressed concerns involving his daughter Sky, following a viral TikTok live session that sparked public debate.
He claimed there was interference affecting his children but did not name anyone directly.
“There is someone who is interfering with my kids and I don’t like it. I am not happy,” he said.
The remarks come amid growing online discussions after Sky’s live broadcast, which reportedly revealed personal family details that triggered mixed reactions on social media.

Mother’s Emotional Endorsement
Kanyari was accompanied by his mother, Prophetess Lucy Nduta, who praised his charitable work and recalled their humble beginnings.
“I gave birth to Kanyari when I was only 18 years old and we didn’t have anything. But Kanyari used to bring in his friends and share the little that we had,” she said.
She also used the platform to rally political support for her son.
“Please elect my son as the MP for Kasarani Constituency, and I know he will fight for the rights of all the constituents,” she added.

Kasarani Political Race Taking Shape
Kanyari’s growing visibility through social welfare programmes has added momentum to early political discussions in Kasarani, especially with incumbent MP Ronald Karauri reportedly eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
His increasing presence in grassroots development activities is being interpreted by some observers as part of a broader strategy to build political goodwill ahead of a potential parliamentary bid.
Conclusion
With a mix of philanthropy, political signals, and personal controversy, Kanyari’s latest public appearance has placed him at the center of both community attention and online debate, further shaping his evolving public image in Kasarani.
