A 48-year- old man is facing murder charges after finding another man with his wife on their matrimonial bed and killing him on the spot.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a man identified as Samuel Musungu had returned home unannounced and found the deceased in the act.
“In a fit of rage, Musungu reached for a piece of rock and hit the 40-year-old man at the back of his head, killing him on the spot. The commotion attracted curious neighbors and Nyumba Kumi elders who rushed to the scene, but it was too late to save the man’s life. He was later identified as Nashon Mudovi,40, equally a casual laborer in the affluent Runda neighborhood. “The DCI said.
“It’s something out of a horror movie,” stunned Nyumba Kumi Chairman Richard Wamalwa told #Fichua. “It’s horrible. It’s a nightmare.”
Detectives based at DCI Gigiri and the duty officer Runda rushed to the scene and launched a manhunt for Musungu, who was arrested hours later.
The suspect is currently being processed to answer to charges of murder contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
