Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has sharply criticised Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo following her concerns about the growing use of goons in political and business disputes.
In a series of remarks, Alai accused the outspoken legislator of political scheming within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), claiming she was positioning herself to eventually shift camps within the party.

“She has planted Weke to warm for her the seat in Sifuna’s camp until when it will be safe for her to go peddle whatever she peddles there,” Alai said, suggesting that Odhiambo was plotting to abandon the Oburu Oginga–aligned ODM Linda Mwananchi faction associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

Alai further dismissed Odhiambo’s criticism about the rise of hired gangs in political confrontations, arguing that such tactics have long been part of Kenya’s political landscape.
“When people argue, we need to get facts right. When were goons not part of Kenyan politics, business or evictions?” he posed.
The Kileleshwa MCA also took a personal swipe at the Suba North lawmaker, accusing her of masking ulterior motives behind what he described as subtle attacks on President William Ruto and Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.
“When Millie Mabona hides her connish nature in subtle attacks on Ruto and Raymond Omollo, she might think everyone is a fool but she is the fool,” Alai said, ending his remarks with the phrase, “Wacheni ujinga.”

Odhiambo had earlier warned that the growing tolerance of gangster-style intimidation could have serious consequences for the country.
“The rise of gangster culture tolerated by authority will haunt Kenya. 100 gangsters were used to try and evict a businessman from premises in Kisumu. Similar gangsters were used to hound Hon Tuju yesterday. Soon, like Haiti, we might need other nations to assist us deal with gangsters,” she said.
Her comments come amid rising debate over the use of hired gangs in political and commercial disputes across the country.
