Former Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo has threatened to quit William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.The Former governor has said that the Mt. Kenya region has been shortchanged.
The Tujibebe patrty leader was reacting to the Kenya Kwanza power sharing deal that was submitted to the registrar of political parties
Kabogo who is seeking to oust Governor Nyoro said that he will leave the DP’s alliance if it does not meet Mt Kenya needs
“When I met the deputy president in Dubai, I told him I don’t want anything from his government. What I asked him is to ensure the interest of the Mt Kenya region is well captured in his government,” he said.

In a clear indication that other members of the coalition might walk away,Kabogo said that theyhad “seen the details of his agreement with other members of the coalition. If that is not rectified to capture the interest of the people living in Mt Kenya then we will have to leave.”
