Alex Nderi, a capital FM DJ, famously known as DJ Lithium was on Friday laid to rest in his home village at Kathanjuri village in Embu County.
The DJ is alleged to have died by suicide last week at the Capital FM offices. Emotions ran high as the DJ was being lowered into the grave with friends and Family describing him as an energetic and hardworking person whose skills in the industry will not be forgotten.
According to one of the family members, Alex was set to celebrate his 33rd birthday year on February 19th but he never lived to do so. The Family members however said that they had no other choice than to accept the will of God for their loved one.
In attendance for the burial ceremony was Senior Council Nduma Nderi an uncle to the deceased, alongside Capital FM staff who showered praise to DJ lithium, describing him as an outgoing person.
