The Kenya National Highways Authority (KenHA) has on Tuesday announced that a section of the Thika-Garissa (A) road will be closed off to motorists to allow construction of a box culvert at Kathuluni river.
The authority said that the closure will be from Wednesday January 19,2022 to Tuesday April 5,2022.
“Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), in pursuant to the Traffic Act Cap. 403 Section 71, wishes to notify the general public that a section of Thika – Garissa (A3) Road will be closed due to the ongoing construction,” KenHA said.
Motorists have been advised to use diversions provided by KenHA
“Motorists will use the diversion provided and are requested to exercise caution around the work areas, follow the traffic management plan, and the directions given by the traffic marshals,” The authority said.
