Amani National Congress (ANC) party has announced dates for its party nominations across the country ahead of the August General Elections.
The party’s Elections Board Chairman, Salim Mohamed announced that the nominations will take place from 12th April 2022.
“Pursuant to the provisions of the party constitution, the Elections Board (EB) hereby informs ANC party aspirants and all its members that party nominations will take place from 12th April 2022 to 20th April 2022.” A notice by the Chairman Elections Board read.
The Musalia Mudavadi lead party said that “a notice of the comprehensive schedule of elections in different counties will be released on 4th April 2022.”
UDA party’s National Elections Board (NEB), during a press address on Wednesday, said the nominations will be held between April 9-16, 2022.
The month of April will see heightened political activities in the country as parties will be conducting party primaries.
