Muslims Are Celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr

Muslims across the country are  celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, that was announced by  Chief Kadhi Ahmed Mudhar 

The Chief Kadhi who spoke in Mombasa on Sunday said that today (Monday) will be the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr

“Tarehe mbili May 2022 ndio itakua siku ya kwanza Eid-ul-Fitr ya mwaka huu. Kwa hivyo tunawaombea wakenya wote na waislamu kwa jumla kila la heri, tunawatakia Eid ya Baraka”

Various leaders including President Uhuru Kenyatta have sent messages of Goodwill to the Muslims 

“Eid-ul- Fitr is a time to rejoice having fulfilled the command of Allah (the most Merciful and Gracious). It is also a time to share with the less fortunate in keeping with the teachings of the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Even though the Holy Month of Ramadhan has come to an end, I urge all Muslims to keep praying for the country as we head towards elections.” President Uhuru Said

“Let us remember we are one people and continue to encourage one another to contribute to peace and unity amongst us. This will ultimately ensure our country remains the great nation that we are all proud of.”
