Saturday is the day all registered parties are supposed to present their membership lists to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.

The political parties are supposed to forward the list to the Registrar that will in turn forward the same to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Once the list has been submitted to the office, aspirants will be barred from moving from one party to the other.

Those candidates who will want to vie as independent candidates have until May 9th

Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke was one of the high-profile defectors.
