The United Arabs Emirates has finally lifted the flight ban imposed on Kenya. The UAE had since December 20, last year imposed a ban on all transit and passenger flights from Kenya. Speaking to Business Daily the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Director General Mr Gilbert Kibe said that the move to lift the ban was implemented on Wednesday 26th January 2022.
Kenya had earlier on Monday lifted the flight ban imposed on UAE flights. The bans however had not affected cargo flights by carriers like Kenya Airways and Emirates Airline. Entry into UAE for passengers flying from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Congo, Eswatini, South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe is also set to resume from January 29th 2022.
