If Elections were held today,the Kenya Kwanza Alliance gubernatorial aspirant,Johnson Sakaja will be elected as the Nairobi County Governor
According to TIFA opinion polls that were conducted in Aprill 2022,the current Nairobi Senator will win by garnering 23 percent of the total votes cast
Sakaja will be followed by the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Polycarp Igathe with 15 percent.Igathe is the latest entrant.Richard Ngatia who dropped his bid in favour of Igathe would get three percent while the current Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu and Business Woman Anne Kagure would get one Percent each
Anne Kananu and Westlands Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi have since dropped their bid to support technocrat turned politician
TIFA also noted that majority of Nairobians,53 percent, are un decided on their prefered candidates,this could be due to new entrants in the race and some dropping their bid
The polls now show that the August General Election will be a two horse race between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya
