UDA Has Postponed its Primaries in Some Counties

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has postponed its primaries in some parts of the country

The National Elections Board (NEB) announced that it has postponed the party primaries in some parts of Bungoma County; Bumula, Mt. Elgon,

Other places are Turkana Central, Kakamega, and Turkana East constituencies.

“In Mt. Elgon and Kakamega we are carrying out tomorrow. This affects very few constituencies and county assemblies and as a body we are really pleased with the happenings,” said the NEB Chairman Anthony Mwaura

Earlier on rowdy youth in Mt.Elgon barricaded roads blocking vehicles that were ferrying election materials that have led to the postponement

There have been reports that some voters failed to cast their ballots in the ongoing United Democratic Alliance (UDA) primaries in Elgeyo Marakwet after their names were not found in the voter register.
