Ambassador Ken Osinde

Deputy president William Ruto announced the death of Ambassador Ken Nyauncho Osinde who was the DP’s chief of staff.

Ambassador Osinde died at the Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

 Ruto eulogized Ken as a good leader with robust management and problem-solving skills

“My Office has lost one of its key officers. Ambassador Ken Nyauncho Osinde was a good leader with robust management and problem-solving skills. As our Chief of Staff, he was hardworking, diligent, broad thinker and a master of human resources. We will miss his wise counsel and team spirit.” the DP said in a social media post.

“My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family, colleagues and friends. Rest in Peace my friend, Ken.” He continued.

In his condolence message,Cabinet Secretary for Interior Fred Matiang’I termed Osinde’s death as shocking and sudden.

“I have known Amb. Osinde for many years as a friend and as a contemporary in academia and the Public Service.

For the duration I have known him, Amb Osinde has never exhibited sickness or ill health.

Indeed, his life has been a portrait of robust health. His devotion to a rigorous personal fitness regime is public knowledge.”Matiang’I posted on his social media handles.

Matiangi similarly took the opportunity to pass his condolences to the deceased’s family.

“My heartfelt condolences go to his wife, Judy, his family, friends and the Public Service that has lost an illustrious administrator. May God grant them comfort and solace to see through the difficult moments of this profound loss,” He continued.

Ambassador died at the age of 59 years.
