Citizen TV’s features reporter Raquel Muigai has called it quits at the media house owned by Royal Media Services after she joined the station in 2008

The Daystar University graduate who won the African Climate Change and Environmental reporting award in Rwanda said that she had tendered her resignation and was in the process of clearing with the station

Unconfirmed reports indicate that she might be joining investigative journalist John Allan Namu’s Africa Uncensored.

The Bilingual journalist who doubled up as a features reporter exit comes days after the exit of Citizen Tv’s sports journalist Bernard Ndong

Citizen Tv announced Bernard Ndong’s exit after their 9 pm News bulletin on Saturday, June 25, where he signed off for the last time.

Mike Okinyi said that it had been a roller coaster with Ngong on the desk.” From the first day, you came from sales and we were going to the studio with Kirigo Ngarua and you said ‘Can I come?” and we said “Please come,” Okinyi said in his emotional message to Ndong.
