Deputy President William Ruto has endorsed a proporsal by Kenya Kwanza gubernatorial aspirant Senator Johnson Sakaja to implement a school feeding programme in all public primary schools
Sakaja who is seeking to succeed the incumbent Governor Anne Kananu said that he will start the feeding program in all the public prtimary schools in Nairobi County
However, the Deputy President who is the Kenya Kwanza Presidential aspirant said that if elected as the fifth president of Kenya he will implement the project across the country
The Deputy president noted that the program will go a long way in promoting school attendance and “By implementing this programme, our children won’t have to go out looking for lunch or even go without food,” DP said.
The two were attending a school feeding programme that is being implemented by a non-governmental organization Food4Education at Mukarara Primary school in the Waithaka area
Sakaja will be battling it out with Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance aspirant Polycarp Igathe
