The Nairobi City Water and Sewage Company Ltd (NCWSC) has announced water supply interaction in some parts of Nairobi County
The company announced a 24-hour water supply interruption that has been occasioned by the construction of the Expressway, will affect various estates as fromWednesday, April 27, to Thursday, April 28

“Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company Ltd ( NCWSC ) will shut down the water supply pipeline along Uhuru Highway due to ongoing construction of the Express Way / Mombasa Road starting from 6:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, to Thursday, 28 April 28, 2022, at 6:00 am” The notice read in part
The company said that the areas that will be affected include the whole of City Centre, Ngara, Parklands, Aga Khan Hospital and areas along Limuru Road.
The University of Nairobi Main Campus and its Parklands Law School will also be affected by the shortage

South B & South C areas and the neighborhoods. Coca-Cola Factory, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and EPZ Athi River will also be affected
NCWSC said that This will facilitate repair of a major leak on the relocated new water pipelines at Uhuru park along Uhuru Highway to enable the release of the road corridor to the Expressway road contractor.
“We appeal to our customers for indulgence and also urge them to use available water sparingly as we work towards restoring the supply. Any inconvenience is highly regretted,” the company urged Nairobians
