The speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi underwent a minor surgery.
Posting on his social media , Muturi said that he was involved in a minor accident in the office before the House went on recess.
“3 weeks ago just before the House went on recess, had a minor accident in the office while trying to pull a drawer and my seat slid off the tempered glass chair-mat where I ended up hurting my right hand shoulder & the back. I sought medical attention and I was released to recuperate at home.” Muturi said.
Muturi said that he had to seek further medical attention after the pain persisted.
“Unfortunately, the pain persisted and on the advice of the doctors, I have undergone a minor surgery on my right hand shoulder to repair the fracture that I suffered then. Grateful to God that I am recuperating well and ebullient.” He said.
