Deputy President William Ruto has been endorsed by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party as its presidential candidate.
Ruto was unveiled by the UDA Delegates at Kasarani International Stadium.
Over 5000 UDA party delegates were expected at the NDC to endorse DP Ruto’s State House bid in line with the party’s Constitution.
The event also marked the formal end of DP Ruto’s tenure at the Jubilee Party where he served as deputy party leader before being replaced at its NDC last month.
Among the leaders present are the TSP party leader and former Agricultural Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri, Democratic Party (DP) presidential Candidate Justin Muturi.
Amani NAtional Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya will also be present
