Erling Haaland has rejected Real Madrid and chosen Manchester City as his next club.
The Norwegian forward who currently plies his trade at German club, Boroussia Dortmund has scored 146 goals in 195 games for club and country and is currently one of the hottest properties in world football.
As per reports yesterday, Manchester City have a verbal agreement in principal with Haaland. The deal will most likely see Haaland become the most highly paid player in England ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The English Champions will now have to reach an agreement with Dortmund who have been informed that the player will sign for City.
During a meeting after Pep’s press conference yesterday, City’s executives informed the squad that Haaland will be the next player to arrive at the club. However, players and staff were told to ignore all questions related to Haaland from the media.
After the Haaland transfer is done, City will focus on signing a new midfielder.
