Madueke, while showing flashes of brilliance last season, struggled for consistency—fueling speculation that Chelsea could cash in.

Arsenal’s spending spree may not stop there. The Gunners are reportedly advancing talks to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyökeres in a deal worth around £70 million.

The 27-year-old Swede, who scored 27 goals last season, is said to be willing to forgo £2 million in wages to help complete the move. Gyökeres could offer Arsenal the physical presence up front that they’ve lacked in recent campaigns.

Across London, Tottenham and West Ham are locked in negotiations over Ghanaian playmaker Mohammed Kudus. Spurs’ initial £50 million offer was turned down, but they remain determined.
